Oh dating... a dreaded subject for so many. I'm sure it comes as no surprise that one of the most frequently asked questions in session is about love and compatibility. Particularly in early dating, everyone wants to know..."is he/she right for me?"
Numerology provides great insight in this area. GREAT insight. And here's how...
While there aren't any black and white guidelines for compatibility - after all, we all have complex charts and compatibility is based on so many factors - there are ways to use numerology as a guide to better understand your (potential) partner. Once you've had your Blueprint prepared, you'll have a sense of your most compatible birth numbers. That's a start. For the most part finding a partner with one of those numbers will mean that you'll likely easily get along.
And what if he/she is not one of those numbers...? Fret not, if you've been drawn to this person, chances are there's something in his/her chart that is compatible. Perhaps you have an emotional number of 6 and your prospective mate has a birth number of 6. Your emotional sensibility toward love, responsibility and commitment will be inevitably drawn to people with that birth number. You will sense their fierce loyalty and unshakeable commitment to their loved ones.
And what about those 'mistakes' you keep attracting? CHECK THEIR NUMBERS!!! Look for a pattern. It will be there. A recent BBN client recently discovered that her roster of cheating ex-boyfriends all had the same birth number of 14/5. While it's not true for all 14/5s, they do tend to struggle with commitment and in the right (wrong) combination, their worst traits can be amplified.
Love & Light,
Lately it seems like everyone is talking about 'Alignment.' Seems like it's the buzz word du jour in the transformational community. "Are you in alignment with that?" "Was that action in alignment with your highest self?" Alright, alright - point taken- it's important to be 'in alignment.'
An important little nuance to this recently came up in a conversation with a friend of mine. She pointed out that we are ALWAYS IN ALIGNMENT. The real question, she reminded me, is what are we in alignment with? Truer words have never been spoken. We truly are always in alignment - whether that be with a positive thinking, powerful manifestation, love, success OR conversely with a poverty mindset, depression, negativity, lack...
Ouch. That smarts a bit, right?
So here's the thing, we need to be clear about this alignment business. Yes, we need to be in alignment... WITH THE RIGHT STUFF. And this is where Numerology comes in.
For those who've experienced a Blueprint reading, you've been reminded that the goal of Numerology is not to be a predicative science. While it might seem predicative and certainly outlines a very accurate description of what's occurred and what likely will occur in the future- what numerology cannot determine, is your free will. The reason why it is such a powerful tool is because it leaves room for us to actively create our destiny.
In understanding your numbers, you are given a set of tools that enable you to build anything you want. By going with the flow of the numbers rather than going against them, you are given a clear path to harmony, abundance and success. By choosing to be in alignment with the positive aspects of the numbers in your life, you're setting yourself up for positive outcomes.
Take a recent client, Amanda, for example. Amanda is an actress in Hollywood. Although talented, hard working and disciplined, Amanda has had difficulty in landing a lead role on a TV Show (as is her dream.) When she came to BBN, she was at odds with the repeating pattern in her life: younger actors were continually coming to her for mentorship and guidance, which she would provide and then watch each of them progress on to successful careers - never reciprocating her kindness in any way. She was frustrated and jaded.
Upon review of her Blueprint it became immediately clear that her Birth Number 9 indicated a path that demands unconditional kindness and giving without expectation of return. In fact, a number 9 in proper alignment, enjoys a life where she is able to be of service in one area and receive compensation from another area all together. 9s who are not in correct alignment with their path often experience feelings of frustration and even resentment as Amanda was.
After fully understanding her true path, taking into account all of the facets of her Blueprint, Amanda found a brilliant solution that enabled her to realize the success she had dreamed of while honoring the service commitment she was fated to. Volunteering several hours a week with children - with absolutely no expectation of reciprocation - she suddenly enjoyed being in her true essence. Oh, and within 3 months, she landed a role on a TV show.

Recently, I read a Forbes Article discussing the growing trend of businesses requiring personality profile tests from their employees and new partners. Most of us have taken a DiSC or Meyer Briggs at some point and understand how valuable personality compatibility is in avoiding conflicts and in creating general workplace harmony. As we all know - a happy worker is a more productive worker! Understanding personality is the key that unlocks the highest efficiency in our work mates and is invaluable in creating a happy workplace environment.
The article also went through the downside of businesses requiring these tests. Most notably, the argument against is that people generally aren't forthcoming/honest in their answers causing the test results to be skewed.
Interestingly enough, I'm starting to see this trend trickle into Bliss By Numbers' clientele as well. For example, there's a pretty well known film director (in the interest of privacy, names will never be disclosed) - let's call him 'The Director' - I work with who requires all new hires to undergo a BBN Blueprint. Unlike a personality profile that requires a questionnaire (and therefore creates the possibility for test-takers to fudge the results), The Blueprint only requires DOB and Name (already required by job applications anyways.)
The Director tells me that he finds The Blueprint to be an invaluable resource in better understanding his existing team as well as new hires - especially in a creative endeavor where ego, creative conflicts and sensitivity tend to run high. His experience is that by better understanding his employees and co-workers, he is able to craft a team (for each film) that works together without drama, delays and conflict.
Having the actors' Blueprints prepared, for example, has been a big time saver for The Director. He's usually dealing with 2, 3 and 7 energy which can respectively create sensitivity, impatience and over-analysis on set. By knowing challenge numbers (each person's Achilles heal) and Mental/Emotional number, he is able to premeditate how to best negotiate with his talent to get the best performances out of them.
How could Numerology help in your workplace? How could you create better workplace decorum by better understanding your co-workers?
According to the study of Numerology, each number possesses a balance of yin and yang. The primary numbers, 1-9, have varying levels of ego and altruism, for example. 1 being heavy on ego energy, 9, altruism.
Those with a Birth Number 1 are natural leaders. They are creative and progressive but on the shadow side can be aggressive and suffer from egotism. They are absolutely necessary in our society and function well once they find a healthy balance for their 1 energy and find resolution between their innate dependency and yearning for independence. Should they have a lot of repeating 1s in their chart, however, is when it can become difficult for 1s (and those around them;)
Over emphasis on any number presents a challenge, but 1 in particular is tough because it can be hard for the individual to have self-awareness around it. When I see a chart with a lot of 1s, it presents an exciting opportunity for me to show my client something that may otherwise be difficult for him/her to see. Just the other day, I had such an opportunity with my client, Paul.
Paul has a Birth Number 1, Challenge Number 1 and Emotional Number 1. That's not the most 1s I've seen, but it is a lot. Particularly because the challenge number brings out the shadow side of 1. Having never met Paul, it was interesting to gauge his response as I explained the situation to him.
As I went through his Blueprint, explaining the impact of each number, I saw Paul open up and let down his guard. He admitted to me that although he was extremely driven, focused and committed, his aggressive energy often interfered with important work and personal relationships. I think he surprised himself at how well he was being able to critique himself and see his own flaws clearly.
This had been a common point of contention in many areas of Paul's life. We reviewed Name Remedies, Feng Shui and just general self-awareness around this issue and Paul left our meeting with a new outlook. Later that day, he emailed me with a great anecdote about a great conversation he had with his girlfriend that could've easily turned into an argrument had he not curbed his 1 energy. Knowing that he had a 2 Mental Number (2 is a great collaborative, empathetic number), he chose to rationalize versus be over-emotional and aggressive as he normally would be. He said he felt empowered and more in control than he'd been in a long time. Such a great example of how quickly a Blueprint can change perspective for the better.
